I had engaged this firm to move my household stuff and car from Chennai to Hyderabad. The outcome was a severe damage to my car without a written explanation. The damages sustained are left door, fender, mud guard, running board, rim and tyre and until now the cause of damagehas been a mystery. Upon enquiring over phone, I was connected to a sub-contractor who asked me to claim insurance. Upon asking the details of the driver, he wanted me to falsify saying that another driver would present himself with a copy of his driving license. Upon asking for the original license of the driver who actually drove the car, he said that it was with some legal authorities in Haryana. He has been saying that the car was hit by a truck near Kurnool. Had the car been hit by a truck, the upper portions would ha e sustained damages and not the lower left portions. To be legally safe, I had to report to Telengana Police and issue a statement that I didn’t drive the car and to let know if there was any hot and run case reported against my car. I specnt around 35, 000 for the repairs and didn’t receive a single word of apology in writing or compensation. I coulclaim insurance since I didn’t know who actually drove and what actually happened to my car on transit.
The truckload of household items came two days after the committed date and without the unloading personnel. My microwave oven’s door was smashed into pieces.
Upon asking the proprietor in Chennai just said ’get it fixed and let know’.
I am preparing to sue this company in the consumer court and take up the matter with every competent authority.
