Air Coolers if built well can be a boon and a poorly tested air cooler can turn into a furnace in the house.
After using this brand of air cooler for a few months I can say it is one of the best at this price. After having suffered turning my place into a sauna using many of the branded air coolers, I had given up on the company assembled air coolers. Relatively the’desi’ coolers that I have seen being used in some homes are far more efficient but many people tend to avoid it due to aesthetics.
However this air cooler has such a powerful motor and yet consumes very less electricity. It is strong enough to cool a 400 sq ft room even in peak summers.
Cons:
Some of the set backs are the lack of temperature control, automatic water level detection and a timer system.
Also, over a period of time the muck accumulated at the bottom is quite tough to clean as the drain hole is quite small.
Removing the back cover is a tough task because the material is not of sturdy platic and can cause cuts while sliding the back cover in the right position.
It does make quite a bit of noise and given it is an indoor air cooler, it can be a bit disturbing if you are watching TV or Netflix.
Can’t comment on warranty service as I haven’t yet had to make use of it.
Overall a very good air cooler provided you can bear with the manual management and the need for regular cleaning(at least once in 45 days).
