3 weeks after posting the below review, the issue has been resolved.
I returned the products and got the full money back from the Dealer. Dealer was considerate enough to return the money. I have fitted normal taps for hot and cold water in my bath room now.
Please read my suffering because of Hindware products:Chronological order of events:
- I purchased faucet models F140012, F100027 and F140011 from dealer
Variety Ceramics, Bangalore in May 2009.
It was installed in my house during last week of May 2009.
ALL THE models had a problem. Problem in F140011 and F100027 were
corrected.
Problem in the model F140012 could not be corrected.
After hundreds of followup calls, your executive Srinivas Prasad
attended the problemand mentioned that this model requires a height of at least 40feet. He said that dealer should have told us this and happily passed the problem to the dealer. It was on 9th July 2009.
Dealer is saying they had no such information from the company.
NOW THE PROBLEM IN OTHER 2 HAVE ALSO RESURFACED.
PLEASE PLEASE DONT BY HINDWARE PRODUCTS.
Also, never goto Veriety Ceramics (at Jayadeva hospital juction on Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore).
Hindware and Veraity ceramics are trying to cheat customers by not owning the problem.
If any of you know the email ids of Hindeware CEO/board of directors, please mail me at prabha_h@yahoo.com .I will escalate them and try my luck if they are sensitive to customer’s sufferings. Today is 26th Oct09. I am writing this with lots of pain and a huge sense of loss.
