After going through various reviews in the web, I decided to go for Hitachi AC. Somebody from my campus tried to dissuade me citing poor service response. It was a costlier one - costlier than most of the brands available in the market. My wife wasin favour of one of the low cost brand, and are installed in plenty at most of the flats in our campus.
However, I doggedly went for Hitachi. I purchased a 1.2 Tonner. It’s rated 5 star( economic in power consumption).Its cooling is fast and have many facilities e.g. kaimin, timer etc. I purchase it from Great Eastern Trading Co. - a reputed retail outlet in Kolkata. The service was good. The center authorised for the service responded quickly. Only in case of the last free service, I had to remind them. After completion of the one year free service period I have already entere into an AMC with them.
I recommend for the product wholeheartedly.
