Hitachi split one ton A/C New Model ACE

I bought an ACE model mid April 08. Now its mid May 08 (4 weeks)  and the A/C has not worked to my satisfaction. Gas has had to be charged 3 times in 3 weeks. Now the A/C is low on gas again and ineffective. Piping to the a/c has been changed.


There seems to be a leak in the unit. And its a new unit. Service in Mumbai is poor. No responses even after visiting the customer service office and the service center. They promise to come on a particular day and time. One has to be lucky if they come after 3 days. They dont even inform you that they wont come on the appointed day and time. They keep you waiting. Having paid for a new a/c Rs.29, 250, I demand a replacement and not repair. If I accept a repair, I could have bought a second hand unit.


Is any one in Hitachi listening as it is a month my a/c is not working in the peak of summer.Any one suggest next course of action??
