We got our first window ac installed yesterday. The a/c was delivered a day before but it took us a while to get the wiring and carpentry work done. Once it was installed and switched on, it took less than 15 minutes to cool the room. What a relief !!!
Ours is a top floor in a 5 story building. The heat is unbearable and its still just April. Mercury has already crossed 40 and it’s only going to head north.
It was not an easy decision to go for an ac which is 10K costlier than other similar products. Before settling for Hitachi, wife and I examined many different brands and models. One thing we were sure that whatever we’re going for had to work in extremely harsh conditions - constantly hot and humid. After numerous inspections and reviews we settled for Hitachi Quadricool TM. Even after the decision we were little skeptical of it’s performance. But once, the AC was installed and switched on, all our doubts vanished as the heat from the room.
I reckon this is a product worthy of shelling those extra bucks. Looking forward to a great partnership from the product.
