JAPANESE AC, SOMALIAN service. No matter how “good” the Japanese machine is, the people involved with this company in India are NOT AT ALL Japanese.It’s the worst service I have ever encountered with any consumer company.
I read one review few days back and the title was perfect."Its not BAD SERVICE, its NO SERVICE at all." I am taking this pain and investing my time so many others can save theirs.
When one should buy a Hitachi AC:
1) When you have a lot of PATIENCE and you can wait even for months for their service reply. I made my first service call in May 2013 and this is October 2013 and I am still waiting. I stopped using my AC during monsoon. My second cycle of complaints started in on 12th October and today is 24th October.
2) When you have enormous TOLERANCE and you can modulate all your negative emotions effectively.
3) When you know someone in HITACHI JAPAN and he can directly intervene.
4) When you want to save MONEY by not running your AC and you still don’t want to disappoint your wife by not purchasing an AC or not repairing it. With Hitachi you can just give their customer care no. to her and you can rest assured because no one will come to repair your AC.
5) When you just want to IMPRESS your guests that you also own an AC and you don’t actually want to use it.
6) When you are very much COMFORTABLE with same reply for months “I AM FORWARDING YOUR REQUEST AND WE WILL ADDRESS YOUR ISSUE WITH HIGHEST PRIORITY.” I really wonder where the hell they are forwarding all this requests that even after 5 months there is no reply!
7) When you have really GOOD NEIGHBORS who don’t mind even water dribbles from an AC above.
8) When you know how to REPAIR an AC.
9) When you are ALLERGIC to AC but your newly wed wife is NOT and she demands AC, Hitachi is the best option. Once it gets some problem you will have peace of mind.
10) When you have a lot of MONEY and you can easily gift your newly purchased AC to a needy person.
11) When you are good at DIGESTING brain twister replys like the one I got. After registering my complain and promising to work over it, just in this October one day a lady executive came up with a reply that ‘when you buy an AC from a dealer you need to contact the dealer during warranty period‘ then why they registered the complaint in first place and promise to proceed over it.
12) When you are ready to wait for another few months for an action from your DEALER and remind your dealer repeatedly that your AC needs his blessings.
13) When you have ANOTHER NON Hitachi working AC installed in the same room.
14) When you are very much ORGANIZED and you can remember when your AC needs servicing( and you have to do it before 3 to 5 months in advance) .
15) When you are GOOD at remembering and providing all the details about your AC like model no, when u purchased it and other things just for registering a complaint through email.
16) When you just want to BOAST to your friends that money doesn’t matter for you and you don’t care and how you thrown away the newly purchased Hitachi AC and bought a new one.
For rest of the scenarios think about buying a Daikin or OGeneral or Mitsubishi machine.
