I bought two HITACHI split air conditioners from Jain Traders, Ram maruti road, Thane. For Installation Jain Traders referred me to Delta Corporation, who is the Hitachi authorized air-conditioner installation and service provider. Delta Corporation is based at Bhandup (+91 22 41025454).
The Delta Corporation sends the street people, unskilled labors for installation. My brand new Airconditioner was not functioning immdly after installation. The reason, one of the child labour sent by Delta corporation had let out the cooling gas. I had a very hard time following up with Delta corporation and also Jain Traders in getting my brand new air conditioners operational. Further to my surprise after re-charging th gas, there was another problem in store. The copper pipe which was soldered by the technician (the street boy) was completely blocked, this is why I call them street boys. No skills learned for installation. I also asked whether Delta provides any training for installation. But to my utter surprise, no formal training is given to these street boys.This problem of not cooling to its capacity still continues.
I registered a complaint with Hitachi Authorized dealer, Delta Corporation. Complaint no. 18002008585. I was promised that the technician would come today. But did not turn up, inspite of my repeated calls. I really do not know when Hitachi would be sending their technician and solving the problem.
I made a wrong choice at the end of the day, by buying Hitachi Air-conditioners. I really do not understand, such a strong brand name (HITACHI) can ditch customers this way.
