This is my personal experience. Hitachi is really a pain!!!!. Hitachi is a great brand and we know that its like BMW in cars.
But whats the use having without proper service centers ???? HItachi has great compressor and good remote and etc and even I felt happy when I bought it.
It has very good power savings. But once it gets repaired it gives sleepless nights. But there are normal wear and tear in AC’s life cycle like gas filling and etc. Hitachi doesn’t have nay service centers on its own. Instead they have authorized some local service centers to repair your AC’s.
Beware! all these guys are pucca local guys(not properly trained) and they behave very unprofessional. They are very ill quipped and for even a small repair they will take your AC’s to service center. Do u want to trust these guys ??????. Imagine them replacing ur compressor with old ones or some circuit boards !!! Imagine you being without AC iwhen your AC has been taken off to service center for repair !!!
HItachi has a very obsolete customer call center where most of the times you won’t get the line to talk to them and they don’t even update the status back to you. You won’t get the solution even if you talk to the top service executives.
For instance if you take a brand like LG(I am not here to support LG), which is not as superior as Hitachi, they come to your doorstep even for filling the gas. I would better opt for such brands rather having hitachi and pay heavily for the service centers and imagine the days you are without AC in the hot climate when your AC is gone to service center for repair.
Hitachi is great AC with efficient compressor and good features but once it gets repaired you will have nothing else pain. Please don’t spend money for the poor support offered by hitachi.Buy durable AC’s like Voltas, LG or general.
Hitachi before 4-5 years had the functionality which other AC’s doesn’t have but nowadays almost all the AC’s are good. Choose an AC which offers good support so that you don’t have sleepless nights like me after spending huge money on brand name.
Don’t get carried away by advertisements and insensible features. An AC has to cool and makes you comfortable in hot climate. For instance take the nonsense AD by hitachi follow me which blows the air wherever you move. Imagine whole night the AC follows you and cool, you will be like the slaves in siberia. So choose wisely.
