I purchased Hitachi 1.5 ton window AC and called their customer care to order an installation request. They committed 48 hours time for installation. I didn’t receive any call or any feedback. I called them again and again they committed 48 hours and still no engineer appeared. I got my AC installed by a local engineer and I found that compressor gets turned off due to heat problem after 15-20 mins everytime I switch on the AC.
Although the display still shows that compressor is ON. And once turned off, compressor doesn’t work for almost 1 hour. Local engineer said that compressor gets heated and he even showed me that after dropping some cold water on compressor, it starts working without delay. I want full money refund for the poor service by Hitachi(Not to mention I overpaid for this AC as I thought it was good due to its heavy price)
