Hitachi needs to do some serious thinking to save their brand. Dealers/outsourced service set-ups and the Company itself are totally indifferent to the customers. Service guys are untrained and misguide the customers.
We bought most expensive Invertor split AC. Within 2 months the product stopped working.Multiple trips( after several reminders and logging service calls) some kids turn up and try their hands. Changed coils, refilled the gas but it still didnt last 2 nights in this heat. On inquiring from some engineer friends, we learnt that there is a design fault. Hitachis Indian set-up refused to replace the AC.
Legal notice has been sent but their registered office( Johnson Controls) in Ahmedabad didnt care to acknowledge. We are forced to sue them and now asking for damages having suffered full summer this year.
