Never ever buy a Hitachi product. They have the worst Service one can ever imagine.
Their servers are always down and hence cant take a complaint and they want us to call after sometime. (They dont want to note down the complaint and enter it once the server is up.) Finally after repeated calls they take the complaint and say someone will come in 48 hours. No one turns up. Again after repeated calls, they finally sent some incompetent person.
The person leaves after fiddling with the instrument (AC) for almost half a day, saying he will send some senior technician. Again dont hear anything from them. Again repeated calls to the call center to hear standard replies. "We will send some one as soon as possible".we ask for the local phone numbers, but these phones are always switched off. They refuse to provide their supervisors numbers.
Finally after 26 days of continuous calling and shouting at them whenever we had the good fortune of them picking the call, they sent a senior technician. And the Senior technician is Arrogance personified and giving curt and replies. He has the audacity to tell my wife who is an electronics engineer that he can explain if we have some basic knowledge when she was cross questioning the dumb answers he was giving.
