Purchased the Hitachi Follow Me 1.5 tonne AC a few months ago. It’s a good AC however, there is one problem with it. The external louvre opens from top to down. Thus the AC throws the cool air forward and if you are positioned below the AC you don’t get much cooling, infact you feel very stuffy. The people who are away from the AC get more cooling than the person directly underneath it.
Hence the cooling is not uniform, one person feels warm while another gets too much cooling. Most of the cool air keeps hitting the celing. Hitachi should definitely look into this . More suitable for large rooms like shops rather than for standard-sized bedrooms. So if your buying this follow me model make sure you position your bed or the AC properly to get the best of the cooling.
