The review is useful as most of the DV CAMs available do not state any quality difference once you want to convert the DV tapes to CD/DVD. I have been trying to write VCD through SONY -TRV33, but not much success.
The DVDs I created looked better of the movie clips I made through DSC-P10. Even I have tried SONIC DVD software to create DVDs , the image quality improved but the movement was staggered. Now the sony’s new Megapixel model DCR HC 30/40, I heard has a new Picture package software to create VCDs. But still downloading through USB may be an issue.
A fire wire connection is available on these cameras but this is not a standard accessory and will call for additional cost also still not very sure of quality.
I have been planning to look for the solution.This review gives a good first hand experience.
I have been searching sony brand models, probably feeling is sony has a better name this review makes me look at other brands. Probably I may buy this product.
What is the recording time normally we get on this DVD CAM. Any way this one I can find out on the net.
