Its just too Amazing ! Recently exchanged my old Window AC with a Hitachi Quadricool 1 Ton unit. And couldn’t believe the kind of cooling and comfort settings this one gives, since my earlier was a 1.5ton model.
The Hitachi Quadricool is a two-sided air-louvres stunning model, with absolutely no noise and minimal sound. The cooling effect is very fast and even throughout the room. The quality of air is very healthy and energetic - No chilling or dehydrated effects.
Power meter indicator shows the amount of power it is using at present settings, so you can have a control on the electrical bills. Also the compressor is cooling fast, and is sparingly on once it reaches the set temperature, so its friendly on your pocket too. Sleep mode like ’Kaimin’ is a masterpiece in AC engineering.
The Hitachi quadricool models come with 2 sets of internal fans that maximize the cooling effect. (Also one more power-saver feature). The AC’s logic is designed like a computer in itself, for eg. the ACT feature which computes the most ideal settings for your home location at that particular date/ time and season , which is decided by the AC automatically once you have set your City location in its Remote control. Amazing !!!
The Remote Control by itself is a super-computer. Displays all settings in effect and has more ... like Password locking/ On-Timer / Off-Timer / Clock & Alarm functions/ Sleep-mode settings ...etc.. Has a nice back-lit LCD screen with all information shown ...... and it GLOWS in the dark, so you can find it in the night. Quality of the unit is sturdily built (even the packaging was robust) and installation done by the company’s personnel was upto the mark. Much higher standards compared to the Indigenous brands.
Even if the pricing is 2-3 thousands above other local brands, this AC has the engineering to return much more in savings on electricity bills. So dont think further - choose a Hitachi from its vast range and be cool at all times ! (** A suggestion : If you are not so friendly with sophisticated devices, better buy an Air-cooler unit instead.)
