Pathetic service and customer care

I brought this refrigerator despite some warning by friends that service is poor but still I  purchased the product assuming that being an International brand the company will take care of their product malfunctions if any.


Alas I brought it and got a problem of low cooling in fridge compartment I thought It may happen so made a complain at dealer level and also on web through customer care. Got an SMS that my complain has been register with so and so number and will be attended ASAP Good!! I thought.


5-6 days passed without any activity from both side I being in shift duty thought that it will be better to contact them over phone next day but may be they read my mind I got an SMS informing that my complain has been closed as it has been already resolved, so as expected I called them, they simply said sorry and give me another complain number again the same story of closing the complain without any action or call of any type, no response over phone also.


It seems that the so called BIG company is doing the activity of complain registration only for the sake of meeting some law requirement.


I will strictly recommend staying away from HITACHI they are not at all worth of the name fame they claim to be having them.
