Hitachi being such a strong brand has created a complete mockery of its brands after sales service. Nothing extra ordinary being asked - regular service. But my 1T AC gave immense cooling issues during Covid. Hitachi tried refilling 2 times and finally replaced the internal unit after 4-5 months of follow-up. I had to go to the shop where I purchased it and sit there on the floor in protest for Hitachi to finally act! Hitachi promised 4 months extension to warranty due to delay on their part and I have mails from Bholenath Pandey - its now been another 4 months and they have not updated their systems. I am being denied service by the service center stating the warranty has expired though I have written communication.
Dont even bother to write to their escalation mail chains - they dont care . Except false promises. I did not expect this kind of an experience from a Japanese company! So disappointed!
