India’s Achievement in the Hockey has given us the hope to regain our past glory. India’s victory in Australia and Gemany, recently won Asia Cup are the great examples of our talent in this game. Most importantly the presence of Dhanraj Pillay in our team is a great boost to other players. Though India is a good team now but still it has to improve a lot. It has to show the consistancy in winning against good team. It’s a good time for Hockey to divert the nation’s interest towards it , from the dominance of cricket. Though I like cricket but I fill and also others, that lot of over importance is given to this game and hence other sports are ignored. As Dhanraj Pillay made a comment that Hockey has not been given importance as to the cricket, but I fill that now it’s the time for Hockey to show that ’’hum bhi kuch kam nahi’’. Hence further if Indian Hockey keeps achieving , I think , that day is not far when people will be crazy about Hockey, taking over the dominance of cricket. Hence forward the Indians though victorious they should concentrate on their weaknesses and holding their nerves for winning the matches.
