This is my second review of a Jackie Collins book.In fact this is my favorite. It shows that Jackie is a very skilled writer and knows how to pull her punches.Since she is closely associated with Hollywood and its workings she lays bare all the seamy stuff that goes on there. It is all done with an insiders sharp eye and wit.
This then is the story of three of Hollywoods best guys and they are all successful folks. The story is all about their numerous trysts with life and the women in their life and it all makes for spicy reading. At the same time it also tells us the story of four women who have made it from scratch. But in the middle of them all is a murderer also. The story is very gripping. One thing is there that all Jackie Collins negative characters have a bad story to tell of what happened to them in their childhood.Still it is not cause enough to go on a murderous rampage.
This book has an excellent twist at the end of it, so much so that you will gasp at the identity of the murderer.Luckily for me I was able to enjoy the book again because I had forgotten the identity of the murderer within a few days.Again, this book has her legendary flair for language and I feel it is incomplete without the profanity because I believe that almost everyone in Hollywood speaks profane language. This a fast pacy read which should have you racing through the pages.
