We had purchased a 6 seater Parlin dining set from Home centre at Rcity Mall the price for which was about Rupees One lakh. Delivery was delayed and then on insisting for delivery as we had a celebration at home on that day they delivered a defective table late in the evening on that day. There was a crack on the table base and soon it started to wobble. We raised a complain within 3months of our purchase and after consistently following up Swapnika Reddy replied, apologised and said they will exchange the same infact her reply stated they had scheduled the exchange but couldn’t deliver our address being incomplete and contact numbers not reachable. This was a strange reply as our 3 contact numbers & address was also already registered with Home Centre and the defective dining table was delivered on this very same address, however we sent the address again. Surprisingly now she reaches us on the contact number and says that they can’t replace the table as we are responsible for the damage. A dining table assembled by Home centre technician and kept at a place starts to wobble within 3months and they say the crack at the base of the table was a maintainence issue. Shocking!!! and totally unprofessional approach. Beware of such cheats.
