Looks like the Director had no idea on what to do with the theme. The theme itself revolved around many hollywood type movies but I cant put my finger on any particular one. See after seeing it even im confused. !?! The style tries to be modern but then it just falls on its face after a few mts into the movie.
Vivek Oberoi gives a very irritating performance especially with his annoying ’’nani-nani’’ (ayeshas name in the movie) dialogues. I mean if your name was repeated 10 times in every sentence how would you feel? The plot has more holes in it than swiss cheese(or some other cheese with those holes). There are characters in the movies who are there for no specific purpose.
You even have class actors like Nasruddin Shah coming in for a guest appearance. Seems like someone has contacts in all the right places. The other Bollywood characters like Snuiel Shetty, Karan Johar and many more I think (revealed at the end) keep popping up and then disappearing.
There are other nutcase persoanlities who do weird things in the story without really adding anything to the story.
But the positive side would be a refreshing Ayesha Takia and a sizzling mahima choudhary.
We went for the first day first show and by the time interval was over we decided to leave. After seeing Boman Irani is roled like Munna Bhai and page 3 his role in Home Delivery was real sad. He tries to save the movie but being dressed like santa claus and delving out mindless dialogues hardly helped him out.
I dont mind seeing Vivek Oberoi doing dumb things but then seeing Irani do them, I decided that enough is enough and we beat a hasty retreat out of the hall and guess what more than half were already leaving.
So im sorry if I can say anything about the movie climax or peformance post interval.
But hey take my word for it. Unless you guys have a urge for suicide or burning money or killing time (and your senses) STAY AWAY from this movie.
