I purchased a wrought iron bed from home town last saturday(22nd March). It was delivered on 24th and fitted on 25th March. The guy who came to fit the bed knew that there was some problem in the bed when he was tightening the screws and wanted to avoid the problem being detected.
But he was unfortunate as I fugured the problem out and pointed it out to him. Then he told that one of the screw that is welded from inside to the right support is broken making the bed weaker to support heavy weight. I wrote a complaintg in the service booklet for the same and was communicated that it would be replaced the next day.
Now even after full week since I purchased the bed and giving almost 8 calls to home town the problem is still there.
All the persons with whom I have talked - Murli(store manager), Sujata and Antony(Customer Care and Service) always committed that it would be replced by the end of the day. They promise to call back in half hour, one hour with status, but never call. I have to give a call to them.
I am just stuck and don’t know what to do and even do not know whether the broken part would ever be replaced or not. My 5K gone down the drain:(
