My name is Mohan and I purchased three item(furniture) from Hometown, Marathahalli, Bangalore on 13th April and committed the delivery on 27th April or before. I have planed my vacation with family according to this, by clubbing the May 1st holiday. I contacted them on 27th and they told it will get deliver on 29th. Then I received a call on 29th from warehouse that only one item is reached at warehouse and will deliver on 30th, for other items delivery there is no clue. while contacted the store, one lady attended the call and she told that whatever the warehouse people are saying that is final, stores commitment is not valid and I asked to contact the store in charge, Joby at his number 09844528902. I tried to reach him and he is not picking the call.
Then I sent SMS by detailing all the issues. He didnt give a call back or SMS. Then I contacted him and he told that he will deliver the unit on 30th and will get fitted the furniture, only one unit other two will again delay and the new date is 10th May(only GOD knows they will keep the commitment or not). 30th late evening it got delivered and we are waiting the people to come and fit the item. No calls from Hometown.
Whenever tried to call them, they are not answering. Then today evening I tried to call Joby and stores, they were not responding or picking the call. Send SMS to Joby, No use, finally I called from my friends number and suddenly within two ring he answered the call then I told him about this issue again, then he told that he is not the right person, then I asked if you are not right person then why he is doing the commitment on new new date. He do not have any answer to this. I dont know what these people are doing. I have lost money, vacation, my personal time etc., I am considering the option to move to court.
Very bad people who not considering the customer values/satisfaction. I am seriously thinking to post this on all the forums(if this is not getting resolve quickly), including company social cast to help my friends and colleagues to get rid of these people. Atleast people will think other options for their furniture/house hold.
