I booked a cot on 28th Nov 2010 and was informed that delivery will take 20 days and they committed on 18th Dec 2010 and they asked me to pay half the amount and once they receive the stock, they will call me to do the balance payment and once done will deliver in 48 hours.
I called them on 14th Dec and I was informed the stock has not arrived yet. Later I called on 19th Dec, after delivery due date and still the stock has not arrived. When I started bashing, they said the stock has come and asked me to do the balance payment. I dont know how the stock can come in 30 min.I was told by the floor manager to come to the store to discuss.
These managers doesn’t know what does the word manager mean. They think themselves as GM/VP of a MNC and they are so adamant. They lie that they gave me a call 2 days back but I didnt pick it up. I gave two numbers and im in town and I didn’t receive a missed call. They said they will compensate me with 500 Rs. 2 days back the sale has started and you will receive 10% vouchers on every purchase. When asked the manager about it, he promptly lied that offer is not available for that product. I asked my friend to check in Jayanagar central and it is available for the same cot. Liars. It didnt happen only to me. Another couple came and bashing the same manager Roshan. Even they had the very same experience.
When talked to the Satyamurthy, the store manager. He thinks he is the CEO of a MNC and he doesnt know customer interaction and he is so adamant. I dont know how Hometown employes such indecent and unfit guys as store manager who is a big fraud himself. They have a done a mistake by not informing about the delay in delivery and im the one who is gonna affected.
My advice guys: Dont go for hometown by seeing the size of the store. They are plenty of nice shops in bangalore who sell better quality products for cheaper price. They are soft while you are purchasing and they treat you as God. Once booked, they treat you as Devils and they will not respect, bother or pickup your call.
