I went to Home Town to purchase a wardrobe and felt the place was highly over priced. But some offer was going on and there was discount on some items. I purchased a wardrobe and paid Rs. 500 for home delivery and assembling. As I and my roomie are both working I specifically asked them to deliver it on Saturday, to which they agreed enthusiastically. Saturday came and there was no news of any delivery. So, I called them and they said they don’t deliver on Saturday !!!!
Since I had paid the money I had to fix a date on working day and make sure they delivered the product and assembled it on that day itself. And when I called HomeTown for this, the employee was very helpful and guaranteed me that this will be done. So, I took off and waited at home and no news from delivery guy and assembly guy. When I called Home Town regarding this they said delivery and assembly is not possible on the same day.
After many calls and threatening to cancel the order they gave me some number of the assembly and delivery guy. Even though independent laborers, not affiliated with home town, they were more than helpful and made sure that the thing got done on that day.
Only purchase from this place if you have your own means of transporting the good or else if you have sky-high patience.
