I had made an advance payments for a Bath Tub and accessories at Home Town Noida on July 7, 2010. I was advised that it takes about 10 days for for the delivery and a date of July 18 was given on the advance receipt. I engaged a plumber on 18th July hoping to get the delivery but the delivery was not made and I was not intimated by Home Town as to why the delivery was not made. On making an enquiry on the numbers as printed on the payment receipt I was told that I will get the delivery by next day.i again engaged a plumber for July 19, the delivery was not done even on july 19. After many phone calls and innumerable excuses on the phone from them, I landed up at Home Town showroom at Great India Place in Noida today and gave them a dressing down as to how ill equipped and irresponsible they have been in delaying my tub delivery.
I found their managers lacking in training to handle customers, instead of accepting the mistake they tried explaining to me as to why the delays occur. Now I have been promised the delivery tomorrow. GOING TO HOME TOWN FOR BUYING A BATH TUB WAS A BAD CALL - I REGRET IT. GUYS DON’T EVER GO THERE. While I was making my displeasure felt to the store managers another gentleman who had suffered delivery problems showed up and made his points - SO I’m not alone they don’t have a professional approach - AVOID HOME TOWN IN GREAT INDIA PLACE NOIDADeepender Sehajpal
