If you are considering buying home linen from Home Amorada, do yourself a favour and don’t ! Amorada packages itself well online and promises premium bedcovers and home linen. They have presence on Instagram and Facebook and the designs and packaging looks promising and I got misled by that! Unfortunately the experience after that has been a series of frustrating follow ups to try and get the product I ordered. Sad experience that has reminded me again not to trust new small brands.
I had ordered a bedcover priced 10, 500/- which was being offered on sale for 7, 700/-. After paying in full - I didn’t receive any intimation of dispatch for two week, but after a few follows ups I did finally receive a package but it wasn’t what I had ordered !! After a few more emails and DMs on their Insta account - I finally received a call from a gentleman who identified himself as the co-founder- Pramat who assured me of a replacement. I believed the needful would be done. After further delays and dispatch - I followed up again to receive excuses and promises of despatch. After multiple such follow ups I have given up, my last few reminders to share the AWB have only received promises of a call to rectify the situation. But it has been over a month and no sight of my ordered product thus far.
Update - the courier showed up today, but it came with COD delivery asking me to by pay Rs 7, 700/- for it again, when I asked why I was expected to pay again for something I had already paid for - I was assured a refund ! Given I have spent the last month and a half in frustrated follow ups, it’s audacious that the brand assumes consumer naïveté to fall prey repeatedly !
