After watching all those glitzy ads for fashion jewelry on Homeshop18 channel, I decided to give a try to Mayur Pearls Regal Collection worth Rs3250/- but Homeshop18 proved again that online/teleshopping just doesn’t work in India.
I received the product in 28 days. Once I opened the packet, to say the least I was dismayed. The quality was poor, few of the jewelry pcs were missing, the rest others were defective. The free gift which was supposed to be a diamond pendant worth Rs2299/ was another farce..All in all I have been taken for a royal ride!!
I lodged a complaint the same day with the Homeshop18 call centre and they promised to get back to me within 2 days but 5 days later, I was still scratching my head. I called up again and demanded for a refund, they gave me the details of TNT couriers...still waiting for the parcel to be picked up..I am confident that I will not get my money back..I wish I had gone through the reviews posted here before I had made the purchase.
Probably we should all move to consumer court...high time Jaago Grahak Jaago!
