The worst service that I have got from homeshop18 compared to other online purchases that I have made (on indiaplaza, moneycontrol, etc).
I placed an order for ipod skin (sub order number: 70375109) and ipod FM transmitter on August 1st, and got my FM transmitter on 10th (which is itself bad, you dont have to wait for 10 days to get a product delivered in a big city like bangalore. hello are we in afghanisthan?).
On 11th I got a mail that my ipod skin was sent and I should receive it in 24 to 72 working hours. It not delivered even after 22nd August, everytime I called them after 14th (called almost every alternate days), they asked me to wait for another 1 day. I got fed up with them and asked them to cancel the order and refund. they said they will refund the amount in 1 week.
on 28th I got a mail that my case was resolved. so I called on 29th to ask them how it was resolved, and they give a clever reason that product was shipped before the refund request was taken. How the hell did they not know about a shipped product when they accepted my refund request? Now they say that I will get the product in another 1 week time, and its upto me to accept it or reject it. once I reject it, it will take a week for it to reach back to them, and then another 1 week to get back my money.
Another major pain was to explain the whole history of events on every call... Payment also had problem, got debited from my account but didnt go to their confirmation page, and I had to call 3 times to confirm my order.This was my second order on homeshop18, and first order also took around 10days to deliver. I think it was my mistake to place second order with them... Another leason learnt in life.
