Hi, I am used to shop online from various online shopping sites like flipkart, tradus, letsbuy. This time I moved to homeshop18 to purchase Bajaj ICX7 induction cook top as it was available there and price was also reasonable. I paid through credit card and everything was smooth until the product was shipped to pune(my home). When courier boy contacted me. He asked me Rs 210 as OCTROI charges.this was not informed to me by homeshop18 earlier. when I contacted them, executive said either you pay and send receipt to us and we will refund you else tell courier guy that you wont pay and we will ask him to not take OCTROI charges and he raised a request to process my query.
So, I went for second option and asked courier man the same thing. now from last 4 days I am following those homeshop18 customer care guys and not getting any answers except telling me to wait for another 24-48 hours. every time they we will arrange a call for you but nobody calls me.every time they say they have not get any response from back-end team.
I have ordered two more different products from other online sites(tradus and payback) on the same day and I got those products on time and nobody asked me for OCTROI charges for those products as both sites have taken care of that already and I received OCTROI charges slips for those products so I asked this homeshop18 guys that why dont you take care of this issue while delivering the product and they dont have any answer. I told them very clearly that this is my last shopping on homeshop18 and will never visit this site again and will not recommend anybody to shop from this site.
Till now I am fighting to get my product delivered. Anybody from homeshop18 management bothers to resolve my problem?
