I ordered a book on 8th Aug 2012 which was a foreign edition. Although I wasnt sure but still I ordered as the status for that book was "IN STOCK" and "Delivery time was within 7 to 14 working days".
After lots of follow-ups it wasnt delivered although every time there was a promise to revert back, but all the efforts went in vain. Some customer executives even told me that the book has already reached to your city (Pune, Maharastra) and will reach you next day.
I asked them "When the book is IN STOCK why it is taking time? But now I understand they simply lied every time. Customer executives kept on telling endless stories and finally after 3 weeks an email arrived to give alternate address as the book cant be delivered in Pune (for being a small city ?? I cant believe this) so I provided them Chennai address. Finally they canceled the order and asked me to place a new order.
I regularly order books / toys / other things from "Flipkart" and receive almost every time within time frame and often quicker then my expectations. But this was my first and surely last experience with HomeShop18.
My impression on HS18 customer executives is "they are not trained, often rude and manner less but they are surely well trained to tell lies".
So the moral of the story is DONT Waste your time with cheap people / Liars who misleads you, tells you fake stories and who are not honest with their clients.
