I am writing this feedback to register myself as a very very dissatisfied customer of homeshop18 in the first transaction itself. I placed an order on homeshop on 30th Nov. When I placed the order, the gentleman on the phone was courteous to book the order but there were no details provided to me while placing the order. I was told that the product would reach me in 7-10 days. When I called on 11th Dec to enquire the status, I was told it will still take 5 working days to get the product. But even after waiting for 5 working days, nothing happened. When I called again on 17thDec, I am asked now told that it was dispatched on Friday 14th by TNT courier but will take 10 working days to deliver. I fail to understand which courier company would take 10 days to deliver a product from within Delhi. I insisted on call to speak with the manager on duty but the gentleman “Tushar” on call was so arrogant that he denied to transfer the call to his supervisor. I kept insisting on the call to speak with supervisor but he was so reluctant as if I would do some harm to him by speaking with his supervisor.
I fail to understand what kind of customer service is this? Who in the world would wait for 1 month to get a product after paying for it? I would have gone to a local shop & procured the stuff directly had I not paid for this to homeshop. This is a pure case of cheating. I paid for the product but the company is now giving me excuses to delay the shipment by every possible way. I frankly now doubt the quality of the product once it is delivered to me at my doorstep.
This for sure the first & the last transaction that I had with HomeShop, I would also make sure that none of the person in my company, relations & friend circle deals with Homeshop in future. This is pathetic & an extreme example of bad customer service. By the way of this forum I am also requesting other folks to stay away from HomeShop18, This is worst web shopping experiance which youll remember for years.
