I bought a product and three months later I still havent received it. Every week I call up to file a complaint and they keep saying that the matter is escalated but theres no response after that. Instead they close all my complaints as "delivered" without ever checking with me or sometimes they ask if its delivered and I say no, but they record on their system that its delivered. The worst service that Ive ever had in my life, and they are also refusing to refund the money. I will be filing both a complaint with the police and my bank for fraud.
- After four months, theres no refund, I will file a complaint with the credit card processors to delist Homeshop18 and have also recorded the last three customer service calls(before they started disconnecting me) so I will submit that to NDTV and other news channels. Apparently the agents are asked to put "refund customers" on hold and once that happens their system will disconnect you after a certain hold time.
Update after almost five months:
- I spent about Rs 250 on cellphone calls, but I refused to give up with Chorshop18. The last two calls where they lied about how they have responded to my complaint satisfactorily(in addition to the other simple complaint calls that I recorded) I recorded and I told the person on the line that I will be sending it to NDTV. Within a few days I got an email saying refund will be processed and it has been processed after a week. They will try their best to steal your money, but since I now had recorded proof they realised that they will likely get bad publicity and cant cheat more people so they processed the refund. If you wish to get a refund, I suggest that you start recording your phone calls from the minute you cancel your order and also make sure that they know that you will be sending the recordings to newspapers and TV channels(except CNBC because CNBC India is part of this scam company).
