Homeshop18 has recently started selling books. This is easily the worst service I have faced in buying things online.
First of all their payment gateways timed out twice showing gateway errors. Later looking at my profile I realized payment is already made.
So you want to buy one book and payment is made twice and two books will be sent you. Do you like that?
now when you call the customer care 0120-4455918 (Open 24 Hours x 7 days a week is what they claim)
their first answer is there is something wrong with your bank gateway - For gods sake this not the first online transaction I am making in last decade. Moral of the story they want to take you on a easy bus ride. We if you dont budge to that, they will nicely say we will do a 24 hr call back. We will solve this as a first priority. Well within 24 hrs they ship both the copies and send an AIRWAY Bill number as an SMS.
Well, if you insist and call back again, then they have the last weapon i.e. Just be rude and say we cant do anything as a customer (if you have made the mistake of buying things from Homeshop18) you better wait for few weeks.
Be careful from where you buy stuff online (dont fall for discount prices)
