Delayed customer support, no proper warranty

I was looking to purchase a Roti Maker as it was really tedious making chapattis by hand. Then I started searching online as nowadays you can buy any stuff right from the comfort of your home.


I wanted a cheap Roti Maker as it will be needing it for a lot of use. While searching online I came across this site and found that there were a lot of discounts as compared to Amazon or Flipkart. Flipkart didn’t have well branded ones so I found of a Jaipan make on Homeshop18.


Firstly, my transaction got failed as their were server issues on their side. I had to write a lot of mails before I got my refund. Their customer support is too slow. Takes days to reply.


Now coming to the product, after using it for just a month or so the product started malfunctioning. I took it to their service centre and was surprised to listen that they do not undertake repairs as Homeshop18 isn’t their official store, it was well within warranty.


Well, I had to pay extra bucks to get it repaired. Again another part wasn’t working and I had to pay for that. They simply won’t provide me a replacement as it was purchased from this site. So, I got a lot of trouble and would like to avoid this site. They should a clear policy regarding replacement and warranty, which was missing.
