Not refunding amount though mobile not sent by the company Friends,
I had done online booking for onida mobile(product code-G480) costing Rs3699/- in Nov-Dec08, by internet booking and paying cash on delivery of parcel by courier TNT on 18/12/08.(DO-996 033 991 WW), but on opening the parcel I discovered that Homeshop18 sent me inferior mobile model G-460 COSTING only Rs2999/- still charging me Rs3699/- . However after much pursuation they agreed to collect the parcel without me having to pay the courier charges, as it was mistake on their part, subsequently I again approached customer care in FEB2009 to inquire why they are not sending the correct product, every time they apologised for the delay but did nothing to solve the issue. After multiple follow up they agreed that the correct product is not available and that I will receive the refund cheque of icici bank made by their office on 4th April 09 within 7 days, and that the said cheque will be delivered by registered letter of Indian post, so I need not worry. However till date i.e 6th May 09 I am yet to receive the refund letter and so called icici bank cheque, in spite of phoning them again and again.
my advice NEVER SHOP WITH HOMESHOP18, or be prepared to pull them in consumer court to claim the refund money with interest+ legal expenses+ other expenses and also reimbursement for the mental torture thus suffered, since that is the only option the company has left for me to exercise
