This is the second time I have problem with homeshop 18. On Oct 16, 2008 I have placed the order for Godrej Grill Microwave Oven and Vacuum Cleaner Combo and paid the money through net banking. After two days, I have asked the customer care people about the status and they said that my payment is not verified so I asked him as I am on phone I can confirm all the details so please pass the order before diwali or during diwali. He said that because payment is done by other department so they can not connect my call to their people and they will contact me within 24 hrs. After 20 oct I again called him and they said the payment is clear and they will deliver the product on time. remember diwali was on 28th Oct 2008. I called again on 23rd Oct 2008. Same promise was made by Homeshop18 people.
On 26th Oct I placed the request again and their website it was showing Cargo is ready. On 30th Oct, I again called and they said that it is not possible to send the product and they automatic canceled the order. I was so angry with them but I asked them when my money will be back and their answer was 4-5 days. Still on 5th Nov 2008 I am waiting for money refund these cheater are earning the interest on my money. On 9th I again called and they said that money will be there in my account. still on 14th No news of money refund.
I have called now on 18th Nov 2008, they said that cheque was issued but when I asked the method of shipment of cheque there is not correct answer. There is no update about the cheque details etc.
Its really fraud company which earn the interest on you money. Make yourself fool if you try to save 50% money and you will loose remaining 50%. You can try and if it is true then join the hand with us. I can not do any thing but just wait and watch with these cheater company.
One more trick these site started using Cash before Delivery (CBD). It sounds good but it is another trick to take the money and then delaying the order. Why any person will prefer give the advanced money in cash and what is then guarantee that product will reach on time. We consumer should do something but what I am unable to think and suggest.
Note: On Dec 5, 2008 I got the cheque and deal was closed but It was so much pain to go through all the way. Thanks to mouthshut review system by which I can inform others about my story.
