I Placed an order for a Sony Cybershot on Homeshop 18 website. On the website it is mentioned that we will get 10% discount if we pay online(Offer - "4GB SD Card+ AA Charger Kit+ Case & Use GC No.DCKJPEA1P5EC and get Flat 10% off during check out when you pay online.") but when I paid online, I did not get any discount and when I checked it with the customer care executive, I was told that the Discount Coupon is not valid as it is a limited period offer.whereas in the website it is not mentioned that it is a limited period offer. I told the CCE that it is not mentioned that it is a limited period offer but he had nothing to say.
Finally I cancelled my order. Again for the cancellation also I did not receive any e-mail saying that my order has been cancelled and till when will the money be returned to my account. Is this the way things/issues are being handled at homeshop18?
With all such things happening you really think one would be comfortable with online shopping? and then we call our Indian customers as "conservative".I dont think it is right!
