Regarding order no:909150285 - Bajaj water immersion heater
Let me get it straight.I am an ardent fan of Flipkart and their mesmerizing service.especially the product tracking feature. Those morons didn’t carry this product which forced me to look out for alternatives and suffer big time.
After some research I ended up with this shoddy site and I swear myself everyday now. I ordered this little product on Jan 19 2012. Their website promise to deliver within 5-6 days. Fair enough. Even Flipkart promise the same but usually amuse me by delivering the next day or within 2-3 days. Considering the fact that I live in mumbai, I expect that the product should reach atleast by Jan 23rd.which is 4th business day. No it didnt. Offtopic: I wanted this product coz I shifted to a new place on Jan 21 which doesnt have geyser and you know how freezing the water would be early morning.
Ok. Jan 24th which is 5th business day as they promise? No. Keep wondering loser.
Jan 25th - still no. And there is no way to track the order in this useless website. So I called their customer care and they told that the order still not shipped!. Then I realized that I am stuck with a very mediocre people.
Interestingly within an hour or so I got a call from them telling that the order was handed over to courier and it will take 2-3 business day to reach. I was already in the 7th day. So it’might’ reach in its 10th day(mind there is republic day and a weekend in between) or 13th day!. A lesson well learned. Be it.
The only thing which surprises me is, why they packed and shipped immediately after I called? so it means only if the customer call they process their orders? otherwise they don’t give a damn?!
Is this a corner case or default behavior? only that almighty knows. What if a customer never calls? they will just rip off their money by not delivering the product? what kind of attitude is this?!
Moral of the story: I should never shop in this site again (in fact any other site except Flipkart).
