Fab Furnish - Fraudulent practice

Recently I got a voucher for Rs. 500 from Makemytrip for fabfurnish. I bought some goods ( 4 items) worth Rs. 956 and got a billed for Rs. 456 as 500 was adjusted against the MMT voucher. They sent me three items but cancelled 1 item arbitrarily. The price I paid for the item was Rs. 499 but the amount they have refunded me is only Rs. 238.


They never gave me an option of buying anything else of the same value nor even bothered to respond on my mails sent to their customer care. I am not able to reach their customer care number either which I tried doing many times.


This practice in my view is completely fraudulent. I checked with a couple of my friends and they told me that I made a mistake by paying them upfront and should have opted for COD. I also believe now that its stupid to pay them upfront when you have COD option. My advice to all online buyers specially on Fab Furnish - Don’t go for prepayment ever.
