I ordered a sofa set on 20th May 2015 vide order no. 201951332 and at the time of placing order was told that it will be delivered within 8-13 days. After followup with the company, on 25th May 2015, I was given the shipment details though the website of the company continued to show that order is under verification. The shipment was done through Fabfurnishs own logistic provider Fabone and since 28th May 2015, the status on their website shows that it has reached Mumbai.
I checked with Fabfurnish on 3rd June 2015 why despite reaching Mumbai on 28th May 2015, the goods are still undelivered. To my horror instead of checking with Fabone, the person named Chandan told me that we have committed to deliver to goods by 5th June 2015 and it will be delivered by then. So, I asked him that 5th June 2015 is the maximum time which the company is anticipating why dont he check with Fabone to know the status. I told him that if the goods are not delivered by 5th June 2015, I will not take it and he committed that it will be delivered by 5th June 2015.
On 6th June 2015, someone from the Fabone called me for the delivery and I told him to check with Fabfurnish and till now there is no response
These websites are taking the customers for granted and playing with their money.
We as a consumer should stop buying from them and take legal action them for unfair business practices
