I ordered 3 products from the site- a mirror clock, a table lamp and cupcake moulds. The shipment came in decent time, but the trouble started when I opened the package. The clock had scratches all over (so basically unusable), cupcake moulds packaging was held together with tape (so the moulds got misshapen) and the table lamp had 4 odd shaped pieces of thermocol as packaging. There were no price tags anywhere and all the products seemed used, so I promptly asked for return.
I was asked to send pictures of all the products. After receiving the pictures, they took 3 days to get back to me saying " my return request has been accepted". Return has been accepted, really what year is this 1991? In the age of no-question asked return policy, this seemed quite odd. Anyways, I got an email asking me to call up the courier company in Bombay, ask for a return number and package the products back again. I swore off Ill get the money back and will never try such new websites, esp. without reading the return policy.
Well its been 2 weeks and the shipment hasnt been picked up by aramex because every second day the vendor asks them to reschedule the pick-up. Im left calling up aramex in mumbai to get a new pick up date everyday and calling fabfurnish in delhi to get the same "were following up and will get back to you" answer. Basically that means fabfurnish will make it very very difficult for a customer to return the product and use every possible trick to make sure the return never happens. Im already dreading the fight ahead for return of money, if the return shipment ever gets picked up.
Take my advice stay away. Im surprised people are willing to buy higher end furniture from them. With this kind of bad service and poor return service, you are better off buying from a website living in 2012 and not 1990s.
