I had bought some curtains from Fabfurnish during their annual monsoon sale. I selected some curtains which were marked as 719 for a pair. Even though I didnt care so much for the colour and design I ordered four sets since they seemed a good buy in terms of the cost.
Finally only two sets arrived and I kept waiting for the second lot. I contacted the company and they told me that it had been a mistake on the website and the cost was for only one curtain. However, the person in charge apologised and agreed it was their mistake. He asked me if I wanted to return the product, since the colour turned out to be so much darker than in the picture, but I said I would prefer to keep it.
He agreed to send me the remaining 2 sets at no cost and the curtains arrived within a few days.
I would like to thank Fabfurnish for their just response. In another case, a clock I had ordered, had a defective second hand and as a result the clock didnt work from day 1. Rather than going through the hassle of returning it I decided to just hang on to it and see if it could be repaired.
I wrote a review about the clock on the site but within the next couple of days I got a call from one of their people who said they were sending me a new clock to replace the old one. It is rare to find companies in India who agree to replace products, without even being asked to.
