P.S: With the outburst of the Home Trade scandal, for being fraud and cheating people with their money, I hope you guys now agree with me that Home Trade was all fraud, below is my original review. which I wrote almost a year ago!
------------------------------------------------------------
HomeTrade.com the new business portal in India...HUH! Is it? I don’t think so.
I had requested a review on it, but to my disappointment I didn’t get a single review .The reason is nobody knows what the portal is about.
Is it about finance, news or entertainment? It was launched few weeks back, and I think they did the best advertising anyone ever did for a dot com. They had a very big funding from dumb venture capitalists who were just interested in putting their money in dot com.
As for the advertisements there are hoardings all over Bombay. At first people misunderstood it as an entertainment portal coz they had film personalities like Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan and the great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in it. The ads were aired on televisions...with Hrithik dancing n Sharukh playing football n all that stupid stuff and saying life means more!
No idea what it means, I think the stars themselves don’t know what is it... They thought that just by taking big personalities they’d get hit. Dude this is Internet not a bollywood movie. As for the site I was lost in the beginning when I logged on to it, they had these stars pictures on top of their index page, as if it’s their homepage. Now they have removed it. Their loading time is very slow. I heard they have quite a few servers, its really bad that the site takes so much time to open the reason is they have so much graphics n unnecessary things on their index page which slows down the speed.
I would ask you all to visit it once and feel the bad experience I felt. As for me I had a very bad experience on their site. Its better that you don’t start a dotcom if its like Home Trade.
At the end I will say it’s really a bad site and they have made a fool of themselves.
