My experience with new Honda Activa 125 wasn’t much impressive. I bought this 2 months ago by paying 72k and I started getting problems from the next week. It started to turn off when I slow down the accelerator and sometimes started to jump like a horse at a speed of 30-40.
Sometimes has to be kickstarted in the morning. Clicking sound from the engine is idle. Lot of vibration with rear passenger.
What I suspect from all these issues is the root cause which is weak body of the scooter, too much of vibration, after one month you’ve to tightened the nuts and bolts of this scooter or else you loose the confidence to ride it because of the noises coming from every part of the body. Its not just about me, I have known loads of people facing the same problems.
About mileage- Though company is claming to give 50-60 mileage, it gives only 28-32 mileage in one litre petrol. You can see thhe difference what company is quoting and what is on actual grounds.
Pros: Only looks and pick up, nothing else.
Cons: Problems with engine, mileage
So, I recommend all you think twice before choosing scooter. Not recommended for daily commuters. Only recommended for occasional commuters.
