I bought this Honda Activa 3G for my Wife, on 07/May/2015, and today(08/JUn/2015) given for 1st service at 693 km @ ODO and taken back. As everyone knows all HONDA’s Positive, I enjoyed the same. HONDA claims this as Activa 3G, other than little change in Tail lamp with Activa written in 3D logo I could not see any much difference in its elder siRobotouchng.
Coming to the review part
1) Even side stand, plain number plates, Step mate are claimed as extra fitting for Activa 3G, is not at all fare. I think it is coming as standard fitment in TVS Wego.
2) Though I know extra fittings like seat cover, front & back Guard, number plates(IND) are cost more that out side market, I decided to took from Show room as it would be one stop job. But Quality is not up to par.
3) Claiming this as 3G, I little wonder why HONDA still keep ODO and Fuel guage in Anasultanlog.
With the above negatives, I purchased this scooter for the brand name’HONDA’.
I can say, for RS 100(Rs 72/L) petrol, am getting milage around 60 - 65, so for per littre am getting mileage vary from 43 to 47 depends on Traffic condition.
Here come’s Honda Trick.
I regularly use my Splendor, to go to my office. Distance from my door step to My office parking is 18.5 KM. The same distance my car, and Cousins Pulsar Bike will show as I use them parallel . But this Scooter shows close to 20 Km. So from my past months experiance, if I rode 24 KM, scooter will 25.
In other Words, If it shows 100Km total traveled, then actual kilometer traveled is 96.
I didn’t compliant at the time of service, I know that service guys wont accept and treat like us in extreme, like we don’t know ABCD about Vehicle.
Is this happens to other Vehicles or to My vehicle only. Please any one share yours Comment/Experiance on this .
Or I Don’t know is this HET technology to get better Milage? HONDA only knows.
