The Honda Activa has poved to be an ideal two wheeler for people crossing 40s other than females as it has easy start-up, smooth riding and easy break. It has good pick up without jerks. It gives comforts to the riders.The metallic colours give a shining look. It has good feature of having fuel meter which provides instantly the level of petrol available in the tank. However, there is a scope for improvement for all the products, and so as for Honda Activa. Some improvements I see in the product are -
The shape and size of the seat is required to redesign. The width(middle part of the seat) can be reduced and the slope in the front side of the seat is to be reduced or removed as these create inconvenience to the rider. Even it might create problem in the spine of the riders in the long run.- At the end of the seat in place of spare wheel, a closed plate can be kept for safety purpose . This will also give good support to the person sitting behind the rider.-
The capacity of the petrol tank can be increased. In the present market, Honda Activa is undoubtedly the best available two wheeler for the people crossing 40s and women and as a result, it has secured the majority of the two wheeler market. If these suggestions are implemented, it will prove that "Honda is Active" for the "Honda Activa Riders". Deepak Upadhyay
