Recently my brother bought Honda Activa 3G the latest model.As we also have TVS Jupiter just purchased before 4-5 months. the comparison between the two products is inevitable.
Here are some facts which I feel worthy of taking into consideration: After driving Activa the pickup, look, and other some things are looking better.
The only thing I found a bit disturbing is after reaching the speed of 30 KMPh or higher it seems as if the engine has some kind of friction feeling which does not give a very good feel. Which I complained to the service centre during the first company provided free service which they failed to resolve.
In compare to Activa jupiter gives a much better feel of smooth ride.Otherwise I will not comment on mileage or price as they all have same average.One other thing I found disturbing is that the Honda is quite costlier in sense of maintenance.
What I believe that at any day Activa has more sales than any other product in the market. but I would say that as activa was launched before any such scooter the number of units running in the market are bound to be more than other.
So people who do not go into proper research believes that activa is better than other products because they see it more often in comparison to other mopeds. So finally I would like to say. I am more happy with TVS jupiter than Honda activa.
