Our Honda Activa 4g 2017 model was bought on April 7th. To start with the looks, Honda has not experimented with the looks of Activa 4G and has kept it much similar like the 3G model, with only the bs4 badging and a slight change in the front part. A mobile charging option remains underneath the seat.Ride quality- Activa 4G really excels in ride qualty. The initial acceleration is excellent, with ample of torque in the low and mid range. Till 60-70 the bike remains planted on the road, after that vibrations start kicking in. The engine is buttery smooth and till date has not betrayed on the road.Braking- Another part where the Activa excels is the braking department. The combi brakes with equalizer provides good braking experience. Though the rear brake is a little spongy, the front brake is spot on.Comfort and Ergonomics- In terms of riding ergonomics, the seating position and pillion comfort is good, but the bike tends to jump whenever I go over speed breakers and potholes. The suspensions are not that good for a scooter. I would suggest to tune the suspensions after you buy the scooter. Mileage- My Activa is still within the run in period, it provides an economy of 35-40 kmpl in the city. I have not yet tested it on highway.Features- With a fair 18 litres of underseat storage, combi brakes, bright headlamps, tubeless tyres and a honda engine, one can easily choose the vehicle for city commutes and short rides within a range of 200 kms. It serves a a good and reliable Indian family vehicle.
