Honda Activa has remain one the most reliable, genuine and unbeatable scooters over the years.
I had bought the Matte Axis Grey Metallic coloured Honda Activa 4G at Rs 57, 500 from Balaji Motors located at Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata on 5th November 2017.
Activa 4G(4G means 4th Generation) has got some more upgrades and has a better look than its earlier models. The major upgrade is that it gets a BS-IV engine. It also has AHO(Auto Headlamp On) feature and minor changes in style.
The design of this scooter is same as earlier. Activa 4G has a USB charging facility but you will not get it as a standard feature . I have bought it as an accessory.

Honda Activa 4G Design:
The design of Activa 4G is similar to its previous model, Activa 3G, but it has got a significant change in style. It has been upgraded to new lines on the front panel, which looks amazing. We can also see an upgrade from headlamp switch to Auto Headlamp On feature on Honda Activa 4G. It still does not have the alloy wheels, which most of its competitors boast of now-a-days. The Activa 4G has steel wheels only. From the side and rear, it is identical too. However it has a Activa 4G badge on the side panel. The side stand and mobile charging facility is available but you will not get them as standard features, you will have to buy them as accessories.
Honda Activa 4G Top Speed:
Top speed of Activa 4G is 82 km/hr but I think that the best speed of this bike s 60-70 km/hr. Though it has speed limit higher than 60-70 km/hr, it is not recommended to ride at a speed above 60-70 km/hr.

Honda Activa 4G Mileage:
Though the company claims that Honda Activa 4G returns 60 Km/l of mileage, it gives different results in real riding conditions. In the city, it returns 45-50 Km/l of mileage and on highways, it returns 55 Km/l of mileage. In my opinion, it is best to ride with a little throttle in order to extract a good efficiency.

Honda Activa 4G Engine and Transmission
The Activa 4G has the same 109cc engine which is a single cylinder, air cooled unit. It has a power of 8 bhp and the torque is set at 9 Nm. I haven’t seen any change in the engine including the power and torque. The only difference is that the engine now lowers on emissions and also meets the BS-IV norms. The V-Matic transmission is same as it was in its earlier models as well.
